785 million people don’t have access to safe water.

As a small wine brand that’s inspired by the miracle of turning water into wine, it’s only natural that our mission is to turn it back into water.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Water.org, Matt Damon and Gary White’s international non-profit organization that helps families around the world get access to safe water and sanitation.

As part of our “Wine into Water Initiative”, every bottle of wine you buy triggers a donation to Water.org that has a powerful impact: giving one person access to clean water for two years. That means safe water and sanitation. But it also means empowering women, reducing the risk of infectious disease, and keeping kids in school.

At $0.55 per bottle, our donations to Water.org allow us to honor our core mission while still being able to produce good wine at a reasonable cost year after year. As we grow, our donations will grow and we’ll be able to have an even bigger impact on the global water crisis.

As of January 2022, J.C. Winemaker has donated over 3,000 years of clean water through Water.org. Our goal is to donate 2,023 years of clean water in 2023.
